Controlled Data Becomes a “Front Runner” With the Release of MTS - Meter Tracking Software 2.1

Erie, PA — April 19, 2006 — Controlled Data, an innovative leader in utility management software, today announced it has launched a new application using Microsoft SQL Server 2005, earning the company Front Runner status from Microsoft Corp.  MTS 2.1 in combination with Microsoft SQL Server 2005, helps enable customers to better track and manage meter information. SQL Server 2005 is the next-generation data management and analysis software that will deliver increased scalability, availability and security to enterprise data and analytical applications while making them easier to create, deploy and manage.
